These are the kind of ships that I find more useful than battleships and carriers and cruisers and other heavily armed naval vessels. After all, merchant and civilian or support shipping was far more prevalent in numbers than the main battle vessels. Perhaps not as flashy or glamorous in terms of firepower, but certainly just as much a part of conflicts as the true naval vessels.

So, great work and much appreciated.

agreed - as awesome as some of asheshouse's warships are, i'd really love to see loads more transport/support type ships, all shapes and sizes... :D
i'm guessing with fewer weapon hardpoints, they're a bit less work, as well, than a battleship bristling with tons of AAA and heavy/medium guns.... ;D

so Sani, what d'you reckon the chances of cobbling together a catapult ship from a 'mini-carrier' type thing, with a take-off section, just for a single plane, no bigger than the carrier portion from where you launch with the catapult, then dressed up in a transport ship disguise.... ;)
maybe something just to dream of for now, but who knows where we might be a few months from now?  :D
it'd be simply awesome to have a catapult ship, then i could play the original Johnny Red missions....a childhood dream come true!!  ;D 8) 8)
