The J Class was intended as a smaller follow on to the Tribal Class and as such it has a lot of very similar features. The simplified and more cost effective design enabled a large number to be built very quickly as the war started. Further developments resulted in the K and N Classes, both very similar to the J.

Armament: 6x120mm Main Guns in 3 twin turrets, 1x40mm Quad PomPom AA, 2x12.7mm Quad Vickers AA, 2x5 21in Torpedo Tubes.
Along with the subsequent K and N class which were very similar a total of 24 were built and they saw extensive action in the North Atlantic and Mediteranean and Far East. Later versions substituted a 4in Twin HA gun for one of the sets of torpedo tubes.

Installation notes are included in the download folder. If you have an existing ShipAshe folder then overwrite the existing class files with the new set provided. Backup anything that you will edit or overwrite before proceeding.
