Brilliant work – this is amazing, you are joining the ranks of the other esteemed ship-builders, Asheshouse & Western.

I thank you for your kind works ( although a bit of an exaggeration)
I use a lot of ships from Ash and Western in my game and I know they both are 1 level above me in overall result.

Btw I forgot to mention this is tested in UP3RC4 4.10 version.

But it shoudl work ok with 4.09 also I think I did not include sth that will cause problems with 4.09

If it fails tell me and I'll make a 4.09 only version

Btw I can already see what I'll give this once I get back to it. It also needs an early war Yamato  configuration with less aaa but 2 X extra turrets
But this is for teh future, I ahve to make the correct Essex SCB125 bridge after next week

Great work. It is possible now to make Ten-go operation.

P.S. I don't know but maybe it is not so hard to make now Shinano?

Well sorry to spoil your fun guys but Yamato needs some more work.

The most observant of you surely noticed that the Hull mesh is not as great as the rest of the ship.
So #1 on my list is to completely remake the Hull meshes and then you'll have 1st normal version.

Otherwise do not expect work on the Shinano unless this becomes perfect first.

And that means redoing the hull meshes.

I type in goggle eyed wonder... 5 and a bit months offline for myself, and I chance online again...  the Yamato is WIP :) :D

Tis' long awaited, dreamed of.., blah blah etc, ...excellent effort Diving_Hawk and friends (Western & Asheshouse and others), truely :P.
As others have done, I commend your effort, entheusiasm and cheer the arrival of the Yamato Class - something which didn't publically happen for its original launching (..to keep it as secret as possible i.e; upto it was found in 2005, neither the US or anyone else but the wartime IJN top brass, really knew just how big it was.)

Now, all we need is some virtual 2ft thick steel plate to test against.... muhuhahahaha (once she's as you'd prefer, naturally DH)

I know I said I'm fed up.

But now I see how to improve this further I cannot resist( it's pulling me in ;D)

Work on the new improved Hull meshes.

Well done on the Beta release.

Text entries for i18n\ship.ini
IJNYamatoClass         3do/Ships/IJNYamatoClass/Hier.him 2

This will enable it to appear in the Object Viewer in the Main Menu

Nice work there on the bow section.
You could also try adding a small overlay patch to make the sun emblem on the bow higher resolution.

Ok here you go, new hull model completed

but it is much better than the hull in beta release

Do not judge the bad shadows thing, it will dissapear once ingame. That's blender's way to tell you it's "smooth"

Now all I have to do is create a new texture for it as well. I think I will change wood colour to match teh one in Western's Nagato so teh whole fleet shows some unison in colour.
