 ;D I used to work just across the otherside of the airfield from Avspecs and I remember seeing the mossie when they were just starting work on the fuselarge - good to see that shes almost finnished.

7 years in the rebuild .Yes it taken awhile but man those Avspecs guys have done an amazing job on her.Are you going to the airshow on saturday Jafa?

If you want the latest on the Mossie progress go to wings over cambridge.

unfortunatly its impossible for me to get up to Ardmore for the flight, its a shame its not hanging around till the masterton airshow, it would have been awesome to see it with the mkIX and TrIX.

Look on the bright side ,Glyn Powel's Mosquito is well under way.Although still quite a ways off yet I suspect.

Nice, you cant have too many flying ww2 planes :)

Those pics are perfect, nothing modern on them, they could have been taken in '44.

No , im not in Nz at the mo , im in the Uk , have been for the past two years , if I was still in Auckland id be down there like a shot with me sound stuff....Get some vid when she flies.

I was in Everett, Washington, USA, ten days ago to watch the only flying IL-2  in the world make another flight..(IL-2M3) http://www.flyingheritage.com/TemplatePlane.aspx?contentId=96.  Another flight for it is scheduled for this coming weekend.  That was very cool.  But if I had my rathers, I would have chosen to seen your Mossie fly instead.  You Kiwis are a lucky group!   8)
