I've tried using the 4.09 FM of the Spit XIV CRP @edit: Dead link removed

But unfrotunately there must be something wrong, the aircraft appears "glued" on the sky and seems to have not controls at all. I can't open the canoyp, starting the engine, moving ailerons...

Hi, S3231541. Thanks for your solution. It works in DBW 1.71. When I used the supplied air.ini, I got a 70 % crash.

cheers

Here's a new default skin I fixed the area from the canopy and others:
https://www.mediafire.com/?wyf46sqxdltfg2x

BTW, do You plane to create real Seafire F.46, F47 or Spitfire Mk.24  in future ????

I'm seriously considering making a Seafire F.47, even a Spitfire Mk.24. ;)

You are my Man Ton !  8)

BTW: Thank You for the new default skin ! ;D

Cheers

Hello Docholiday

I don't know how to put it but ....heeer this spinner looks more like a Concorde nose than a 46 spinner.
Please don't take it bad, it's a simple remark as I even can't imagine how you guys are doing these things.
I am just saying that in the positive way.

But I am sure that you'll agree  that this spinner is quite striking and detracts from the general 3D rendering. It just hurts.
Look at the length of the spinner compared to the length of the Griffon cowling.

I hope that you or Jeronimo can do some plastic surgery on these spinners.
It has been a common fault to consider that Contra Prop spinner are much bigger than normal Griffon prop spinner.

This was a simple remark and I still thank God who have given us, simple users , so much modders taking on their free time just to spoil us , ungratefull whiners :-[

Hellu Guys  8)

Beliefe me: I have really a lot of Informations about these planes !!

The problem is that if I have to reimport the meshes over Dr.Jones-mes-importer to 3ds I loose the smoothing and I have not the abilities to smooth with accepabel results ! :(

Otherwise I would already have changed the rudder, keel, wingtips and radiators of this plane. Sorry !

I already shortened the spinner but could not restitute the smoothing of the propellor-blades !

So  calm down! we have to wait for a real 3d-modder.

As I already said: This plane is only a stopgap-franken-solution
