B-24 Consolidated Nose Turret

Hi all,

This is a little visual mod that changes the nose turret of the B-24J from the Emerson electrically-operated model to the Consolidated hydraulic one. Historically, the Consolidated turret was installed on earlier production blocks of the B-24J, and later on, the Emerson turret was installed at some factories.

*note- this is not a correction, as the Emerson turret is accurate for the B-24J. This is merely a representation of a different variant installed at different points in the B-24J's service.

Installation instructions: simply paste the J44_B-24J Consolidated Turret folder into your mods folder, and you're good to go!

it's a simple hier.him edit, so there shouldn't be any compatibility issues.

Good...
And more good: this mod is valid only for B-24J-100-CF(USA). It means that if you choise another nationality, your have the stock turret.
Now, digging the doc and renaming all the skins as B-24Je for Emerson or B-24Jc for Consolidated...
