Need Help With a Mission error ~ SOLVED
« on: October 09, 2014, 08:11:19 AM »

When trying to join a game, I am getting hung up at 90% loading humans. Is this indicative of a common problem with my machine or game conf.ini, or something else?

I have rebooted the game, as well as the machine with no luck. I can open the mission up in the FMB but it hangs at loading humans if I try to play it from the FMB.

When I attempt to host the mission - this is a coop by the way - I get an error message after 85% loading static objects that says, "Mission loading failed: Mesh 3do/humans/paratroopers/Russia/mono.sim not created" I can click "OK" on that error message and go back to the mission loading screen where I can choose to load a different mission, which loads just fine. So, it would seem to me that this problem is peculiar to this particular mission BUT, I can load this mission on my gamer and play it, host it, or join it when hosted by another squad member's machine!

Any ideas or suggestions? I posted this over at Mission 4Today and was able to attach the mission file if you'd like to take a look at it.

Thank you vpmedia! I'll try this when I get home from work. I should have indicated that I am running the latest version of HSFX, 7.0.2 I believe.

I'll post back here with my results.
