Slow/Laggy Menu ~ SOLVED

I fixed this by simply updating my GPU driver from 195 to 196 (nVidia 9800 GTX+ if you must know)

Original Post:
I have made a clean install of IL2 (purchased off Steam), patched to 4.09m and installed UP 2.0n.
It boots up fine (with no extra mods activated) but the menu is very slow. My mouse pointer only moves every 2 seconds and it takes me about 2 minutes to get into the QMB menu.....
Please tell me what is wrong as my previous IL2 was the exact same (no other stuff) and it worked perfectly!

P.S  I have Googled and searched here and AAA and found no help.
