I Add some fields textures in this version.
This is texture pack that allows you to change textures on the maps easy.

Here's texture list . There are  27  texture with maximum quality . All texrures with bumpH files and tiled.


How to use.

1.Put all textures,Bumph files ,tree files into your  MODS\Mapmods\maps\_Tex\Land\summer folder.
2.Open load.ini of the map wich textures you wish to change .
3. Change this lines in fields section.

For EXAMPLE !!!

LowLand0 = land/summer/Martins_England_3.tga
LowLand1 = land/summer/Martins_England_3.tga
LowLand2 = land/summer/Martins_England_3.tga
LowLand3 = land/summer/Martins_England_3.tga

MidLand0 = land/summer/sk_LowLand5_fields.tga,-2
MidLand1 = land/summer/sk_LowLand3_fields.tga,-2
MidLand2 = land/summer/sk_midland4.tga
MidLand3 = land/summer/sk_LowLand0.tga

Mount0   = land/summer/rom_mount0.tga
Mount1   = land/summer/sk_fields_mount2.tga,2
Mount2   = land/summer/rom_LowLand0.tga
Mount3   = land/summer/rom_swamps1.tga

Country0 = land/Pacific/fields_kevtungatt2.tga
Country1 = land/summer/whitechalk.tga,2
Country2 = land/summer/rom_fields_MidLand0.tga
Country3 = water/rom_fields_Beach.tga,2

City0    = land/summer/sk_DownCity.tga
City1    = land/summer/sk_MidCity.tga

AirField0= land/summer/rom_air_fields_0.tga,2
AirField1= land/summer/sk_fields_mount5.tga,2

All my textures calls Martins_England_fields_XX.tga  Where XX - number from texturelist . So you can look at texturelist and repaint map easy.

4.Save  load.ini file and run game .



Notes  :!:

- If my tree files dont work ...i will be pleased if anybody make it for us .
- If you dont like Bump effect just delete all the BumpH files.


Soon will be  German , Russian , French ... textures , but i need time to rest .
                    + Air Bases  + New Forest

Waiting for yours load.ini files here , i'm not a proffesional in  map making .

Maybe sombody wil try to make Tree files for it .  ;D ;D ;D

So - i´ve tried the textures ...  :)

It´s a nice work, but for my taste the pattern effect at higher altitudes is to hard, at lower altitudes it´s very impressive.

Looking foreward to the german and french textures.

Hi all I've got time ne question I've HSFX mod instaliert and who would like to Graund texture Mod instal unfortunately I know how the get someone can help me? Sorry my Englich is not as good

Bloody clever! This is a great easy to use pack which breathes new life into some of the early experimental maps, With these new textures they become absolute masterpieces! Really enjoyed playing around with this one. Reminds me of the old FS9 VFR sceneries.

I am using UP 2.1 and would like to use these textures with the Channel Maps. Since these maps are included with UP 2.1, I don't have access to their load.ini files. Is there some other way to get these textures to work with a map included with UP 2.1?

I recently made a 4.10 + Modact installation and started to use it purely for messing around with maps. I have learned loads of stuff here on SAS and I now understand much of the very basics of mapping. I liked the look of these textures and decided to try them but I simply can't get them to load. In the installation instructions Martin gives this as an example...
[FIELDS]
LowLand0 = land/summer/Martins_England_3.tga
LowLand1 = land/summer/Martins_England_3.tga
LowLand2 = land/summer/Martins_England_3.tga
LowLand3 = land/summer/Martins_England_3.tga
Obviously I started with these lines in the maps' load ini but the map wouldn't load. Then I noticed that the textures file names in the downloaded pack were a bit different so I tried...LowLand0 = land/summer/Martins_England_fields_3.tga
but I still get the same problem. I have also tried a few other variations on the file names but still no go. Could anyone tell me what is wrong? Thanks in advance.

@benson:
1. did you pasted the textures into the proper path in _Tex folder (the same as in load.ini) ?
2. what says Shift-Tab ?
3. aren't there any typos ?
