Hello guys, I have a request, and specially a request for Prille59, the hero of the Ecuadorian army in IL-2
Now we have the Gloster Meteor, It would be nice to have some with the Ecuadorian flag. I know, the FAE had not Gloster MKIII but twelve FR9. But it will be nice.
So a little history to start
if you wish :
In the begining of the year 1954, the FAE decided to modernize his air force. She bought 16 Electric Canberra bomber and 12 Gloster Meteor FR.9. Ecuador was the third South American country to join the air jet.
In 1957, the FAE had :
-12 Meteor FR.9
- 6 Canberra Mk6
- 4 Lockheed T-33
-18 Lockheed F-80C
In June 1967, a part of the Meteor are aircraft in a flight demonstration squadron. So they were repainted with new color.
Finaly in 1977, all the drivers are transferred to the 12 Jaguar Sepecat the Ecuador has acquired.

So this is now paintscheme to help skinners who want to make the Meteor with the FAE color
I'm sorry I have just one picture with a combat Meteor but I have a lot with first paintscheme of the flight demonstration squadron. It will be nice if the skin will be in 2048 size because there is a lot of nice details on the plane.
