Thank you very much, Phantom II !
I installed all necessary LAL HANGAR RONE objects as advised, the Universal static ini required also some of Boomer's pack. When I tried to fly a FMB mission , it still failed .
Re-using Universal static ini checker, this time it give:
"Missing objects in your static.ini:
buildings.House$TypeJ "
in spite of that I have instlled this object.
When open static.ini, I saw:
[buildings.House$Type_J]
Title Type_J
MeshLive 3do/Buildings/Airdrome/TypeJ/live.sim
MeshDead 3do/Buildings/Airdrome/TypeJ/dead.sim
AlignToLand 0
Body WoodMiddle
Panzer 2.1
The mission became flyable only after I removed "_" from the object name and title, as shown in red above.
Perhaps this finding could help anybody else.
When flying on the winter version of the map, I saw some airstrips (e.g. in Mozdok, Beslan) freed completely from snow, showing green grass.
Is it intentionally?
No, that is not intentional. When the map was originally made, if I remember right, brown airfield plates were used to represent a muddy winter airfield. Somehow, the plates were changed and now (maybe depending on which mod pack you use) they are also repainted. The plates I have (vp Modpack) are semi-transparent and show some snow through them, along with the "green grass" you refer to.
The green effect is lessened if a mission is flown during winter months like November/December and earlier in the morning or later in the evening.
To really fix the problem, I could go in and change the plates but I don't really feel like taking the time to do it right now.
Perhaps someone else could switch the plates and post the "hotfix" here.
On another note, on my repainted version with cyberolas textures, I did notice some errors in roads and highways. Some towns have an odd looking piece of paved highway which probably should have the unpaved road texture instead. In the original map it looked OK but now the newer city textures are used which make it look a little odd. I'll have to re-do those too but hopefully all these errors can be overlooked, for now.
