I don't understand anymore
Hi bertrand. I have some tips for you... with regard class files problems.
First take note that there are ship mods makers: Gio / Ashe / Western / ten010 / JFC / Gofo / Archie / Plowshare / et.c
Each is using a complete set of their own class files
over and over and over again.
It is important to create a
single classfiles folder for each one of those guys... [ Ex of path: MODS (or #DBW, et.c)\
shipsgio \ 3Do.... ]
Say you install the
latest ship from Ashe ( EAGLE) and nothing else: it's classes contains
all classes from previous products from ASHE.
Say you install the latest from Gio ( Italian DD ships? ): these classes will contain all classes from previous Gio, including the Ryujo.
So each time you retro to an older product, try to paste class-files to proper maker's file; then
reject them if they are not most recent.
( there may be few rare exceptions were classes are unique to a specific ship, but this is rare. In that case the classes will paste without questions ).[ also some ship makers may work in tandem: like gio-western; just then check both their files and keep only one set of these classes: the most recent common to both, set of class files... ]PS: if you install old obsolete class files, you are partly de-installing some more recent ships, hence crashes at 70%...
PPS: if you keep two diff.time versions of same classes, in two diff.files, the first to load holds; thus post-newer-ignored classes cause 70%. Of course you may have your own set of personal problems using 409 only compatible classes... ask some 409 rebels advice. Have you tried NOT using the mod's classes at all. If this works then you already have the much later classes. Further warning: the latest classes for this mod are not the latest classes from Gio or Western...
