Mod planes in standard Dgen campaigns?

I would like to ask if there is possibility to add any modded plane to an original, unmodded Dgen campaign (for example a Fokker D.XXI into a finnish fighter campaign).I went through this thread (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,7601.0.html) and tried to add the plane into the classesxxx.dat, planesxxx.dat and EuroPlanes file, but when I selected the plane, the campaign didn't start, there was only a strange beep, and I stayed stuck at the plane selection screen.I was searching, but I didn't find anything that works, so I would be really glad if I knew how to make it.

You need to add new planes to XXXXXXplanes.dat too. :)
It is better than adding planes to EuroPlanes.dat or PacificPlanes.dat and working for me.

it depends on the maps - most planes are working, but not with all maps

also it's problematic to change a red plane into a blue or the other way, check the dgenerror.log file when the campaign fails
