RAMDisk
« on: January 11, 2011, 03:51:50 AM »

Goodmorning!
Is it possible to load files from UP .../MODS folder to a RamDisk? I'm trying to load the folders with sounds mods but I can't figure out to make it work. If I simply copy in it those folders then they aren't read by the game. Anyone might give some help?

I've installed DataRam Ramdisk and I create a 3093Gb ramdisk.

Thanks in advance

Short answer is 'Yes', but you have to put the whole game into the Ram Disk.

You don't need copy whole game at all, use Link Shell for those files moved to Ramdisk. Please note Link Shell only work for NTFS, so after you making a ramdisk with dataram software, remember to format it as NTFS.
