Well I too am stumped by the Non-Wide screen mode. Or the limit of 1600 x 1200 x 32. I run a resolution of 1900 x 1200 x 32 and for awhile, and not with 00_Ecran_Wide which only makes things smaller  for me. I had it working, full screen, for awhile and I can not figure out how I did this. Seems like I altered the Config.ini through notepad. I picked up the recommended setting from somewhere and like a nucklehead didn't make a note of it.

Any way I tried just changing the resolution in the config.ini to my resolution, and of course the game would not start till I changed it back. There were some other changes as I recoleck, but just do not remember what they were.

Have you tried these conf.ini settings?

[window]
width=1368
height=768
ColourBits=32
DepthBits=24
StencilBits=8
ChangeScreenRes=0
FullScreen=1
DrawIfNotFocused=0
EnableResize=0
EnableClose=1
SaveAspect=1
Use3Renders=0

These settings work on my laptop, which has a 16/9 ratio screen with a resolution of 1368x768. Substitute your own screen res and you should be good to go. Oh, and you will still need Ecran_Wide for the widescreen menu's.

I'm haveing problems with this also. I tried the 00_Ecran_widescreen thing but it did not work for me. I know the config.ini can be edited but I don't recall how completely. I did change the resolution to reflect mine, 1920 x 1200 x 32 but I'm obviously missing something as this does not widen the screen. I am running a 26" Wide Screen monitor.
