I think some of the soundmods out there sound sweet, but if you want to go for realism, this is a better take on it imho! It reminds me of RedBatFlights' Distant Sounds Mod

As for internal sounds in cockpit.. The sounds could be more defined, but indeed I think a lot of the sound is muffled through the cockpit walls and canopy + under the engines roar...
