Mission build - Static Camera sticky
« on: February 05, 2011, 11:46:49 PM »

I'm building a mission to hit Berchtesgaden,Kehlsteinhaus etc.
and at an altitude I know is more the 3000 meters my static camera reads 65 meters?
very difficult to place objects well when you have to spend 30 min
to get a static camera in the correct position.
could be the map...

yeah, could indeed be the map.
thing is, you are probably thinking of 3000m above sea level, when the camera is indicating as 65m above the ground level, which is probably why you are having this issue.
on the other hand, if you are manually placing the camera, and it is in the right place you want, then it's really irrelevant what the indicated height of the camera is, no?  :)

you can set static camera height when you place them in metres
default is 100m take it up to 6000m if you like
