Hey Bearcat!  I live in Sweden now.  Life is good.  I had me a son too.  Hope life is good in N.Y.

Here's my game stand that I cobbled together with little more than simple hand tools.
The keyboard tray tilts, raises, and lowers.
The peripheral device tray that the stick and mouse are on also tilts, and the upright side 'legs' also tilt.
It's also perfect for use with my G27 Racing wheel (used with GranTurismo 5/Need For Speed Shift)

Here's a view from "behind the cockpit".

The PC (on the right edge of pic) has the SB XiFi Fatal1ty Pro Titanium soundcard output to the stereo amp to the right of the TV for "blast you out of your seat" 5.1 Surround Sound.

The GeForce 8800 GTS is output via DVI>HDMI connector to the 46" TV (in addition to my standard 22" monitor)
The other device is the Nostromo N52 by Belkin. I never have to touch anything on my keyboard during combat with the way I have it and the Logitech Extreme 3D stick programmed.
The keyboard is a Microsoft Sidewinder with detachable NUMPAD, and ability to program complex macros for anything.

The input devices all connect to a little 4 port USB hub.
On top of the TV is my Logitech C910 HD video camera which is used with FaceTrackNoIR for hands free and hardware free view control in-game (Used for both "in-flight" and also for ntrk playback), giving you nice smooth, controlled pans when using FRAPS to record when making a movie/clip for YouTube.
Edited because I forgot the RIDE part...You asked for it, here she is:

And here I am flying without leaving the ground.

Bonez, i'm sure i've seen you cruising the streets of Charming, CA with the 'Sons', lol... :D
pretty snazzy setup, mate - i'm especially jealous of the G27 wheel you have, but for now i'll just settle for my trusty old G25.
i've also got it set up so that my rudder works with the brake/gas pedal - works well for me, and gives me twice the value for my money, as i also love my racing games, especially those that tend towards the more 'sim' end of the scale - GTR/Race '07 series, Richard Burns Rally being my favorites.
thanks for the sneak peek into your sim setup.  8)

I like SOA for it's entertainment value, but as far as portraying what a 1% MC is  all about, it's 99% BS.

I wish I could use my G27 pedals for my flight sim. Twist sticks kinda suck. The plug for the pedals is round like an old power adapter, which plugs into the wheel and the wheel then plugs into the PC via USB.

I'd trade it all for a new in the box G940 package ;)

roger that on the MC thing - i have some buddies in an MC, 'Tarmac Troopers', lol, but i'm sure the scene is a bit bigger state-side, compared to my little corner of the world here in Cape Town.

my spare stick is same as yours - Logitech 3D, but the twist throttle does suck a bit, and i only keep it as an emergency backup, in case my X-52 goes tits-up (hopefully it won't!)
why couldn't you set up the G27 pedals for rudder?
surely it's not that different from a G25 setup?
in my case, as long as it's plugged in, it's recognised in the HOTAS controls section.
simple as. ;)

It's in the little town of Garrison on the western shores of Lake Mille Lacs here in Minnesota. near the junction of MN 18 and US 169.

Did my job and on the way back the wether was better almost blue skies
