charging guns

Is it possible to include in advanced engine management or some other way, to have to charge your guns before
firing?

"Charging" the guns was turning on the heating device.

And, in some cases crew had to cock the guns or remove safeties on ordinance before they could be fired/dropped. On some early war aircraft, the pilot had to cock some of the guns by hand. For example in the P-40 cockpit, the red levers you see just outside the gun butts are the cocking handles for the fuselage-mounted machine guns.
