This is a big post, but...I endeavoured to present "families" of objects which would allow several conversions from a base mod. It seemed logical to my non-modding mind. I hope someone out there is inspired by one or two of these...
Here are some Vehicles/Guns that I think might be

From the stock SPW 251/1
SPW 251/2 81mm Mortar Schlepper 2 in each PzGdr HW Pltn
Move the AAMG to a rear hull mount, add an 81mm Mortar and 3 crewmen
SPW 251/7 Pioniere Vehicle Bridging
SPW 251/9 75mmL24 Howitzer 2 in each PzGdr HW Pltn
Take the L24 Howitzer from the PzkwIVE, and place in the front of the SPW251/1
SPW 251/10 3.7mm PaK Pzgdr Platoon Leader's Vehicle
SPW 251/17 2.0cm FlaK 38 Late War Mobile AAA often two were attached to late war HQ Pltn Pzgdr Coy
SPW 251/22 7.5cm PaK 41 Late war mobile PAK gun

To create the early war StuGIIIB : From StuGIIIG stock remove 75mm L48, AAMG, smoke Mortars, comand cupola,schuerzen
Add 75L24 howitzer, ...and rectangular hatches to create StuGIIIB, the first operational Sturmgeschutz 1939-1942
From Sherman M4A2/76mm remove CMG,
Extend Cannon Length, add Muzzlebrake, gun support;Create M4A4 Sherman VC Firefly
The QF 17 Pounder AT Cannon which was the MA on the Firefly, and was the most effective Allied anti-tank gun on all fronts pound for pound, , and is currently unrepresented in IL2

To creat the ground mounted towed version of the
2.0cm FlaKvierling 38 , Remove the 4 x20mm from the Whirblewind
Remove the Turret Armour, and add the trails from the 37mm FlaK 36/43
Note the Mags fit into each breech laterally
Sdkfz 7/1 7 tonne soft halftrack with 4 x 20mm Flakvierling 38
Enlarge Sdkfz 6 by approx. 10% (to create Sdkfz 7 tonne) and add Flakvierling 38
M51 4 x .50 cal Gun Trailer This is the same weapon on the M16 MGMC halftrack, mounted on a trailer, usually towed by a small truck or jeep

US M15MGMC halftrack. Same halftrack as the M16, armed with 2 x .50 cal AA and 1 x 37mm AA
US Gunners learned to open fire on Axis aircraft at long range only with the .50s, and lure them closer to be finished off by the 37mm. It would be nice if this behaviour could be coded into AI.
