I'm sure this pack was included in DBW but it is years since I worked on them, so not 100% sure.

Thanks SAS-Anto,

I figured the pack was included. I was curious. Thanks for the fast reply. - jg1234

Dear Anto,

please, would you add two 44-gallon drop tanks to Hurricane Mk.IIB?

I'm struggling to make it participating to Far East campaigns, but its short operational range is incompatible with historical missions.

As a reference, I found what follows on Wiki:

"The Hurricane II B were fitted with racks allowing them to carry two 250 lb or two 500 lb bombs. ... The same racks would allow the Hurricane to carry two 45-gallon (205 l) drop tanks instead of the bombs, more than doubling the Hurricane's fuel load." (As source, it mentions: Hiscock, Melvyn. Hawker Hurricane Inside and Out. Ramsbury, Marlborough, UK: The Crowood Press, 2003. ISBN 978-1-86126-630-9.)

Also, quoting Military History Encyclopedia on the Web about the Mk IIA Series 2 (later becoming Mark IIB):

"It had the capability to take two 44 imperial gallon drop tanks, increasing its range."

The same mentions how 135 Squadron's Hurricane IIB "...reformed at Calcutta and began to fly convoy patrols over the Bay of Bengal. ...throughout 1942". Actually, 135 Sq. was based at Dum Dum (Kolkata), hundreds of miles from Bay of Bengal and nearest objectives in Burma.

Besides, I would suggest to add a "4.09" mark to this thread: I use flawlessly this mod from years on 4.09+UP2.01!

Thank you!

Not to worry, there might very well be someone doing this, Anto is along with many other modders gone because of RL events. Modding society has always been a number of changes, it is not news that modders quit, it is the lack of recruitment that is the problem. But we have still people active that can do it

I do not understand!
If I read the readme of this pack I see :

HurricaneMkIIb.2xDrop44        2x 44gal Combat Tanks

And I see very well in the game!

It's just me or the Vickers cannon of the MkIID and MkIV, is not able to destroy the majority of axis tanks?
