Laetitia Casta has been spent - she's a breeder now.

She's spent now... what a line... she now is not pure enough then eh? Some vodka and pork will sort that, ...although that might not entice her; except perhaps in those occasional vivid life like deja vu akin lifelike dreams we humans sometimes have muhuhahaha...

A great work by Greif! It really improved my immersion when in '109.

A special improvement was for me gorgeous gunsight reticle because it's thin, accurate and low brightness, finally! I even noticed some increase in my firing accuracy!

Just curious about the "famous" cylinder into windscreen: undoubtedly it was opaque (solid), but was it really desiccant? I've an old issue about Bf 109G mentioning "calcium chloride pellets" into side canopy transparencies hollow space to absorb water condensation only for pressurized models (G-1, G-5). Why only windscreen also of non-pressurized models required this unique device?

... like you I have always wondered about the historical accuracy of these dessicant pellets, and since I never could find proof that even non-pressurized 109s had them, I decided to delete them from all my 109 cockpits, and I must admit I feel way better now ...  :D

All photos also of non-pressurized Gustavs show clearly that a solid cylinder is into right bottom corner of windscreen (from pilot's perspective). I'm unsure about its purpose...

Non-pressurized G-6, tablet windscreen bottom right. Very common to have with G-series & up.

I'm unsure about its purpose...
Its purpose was to prevent an instantaneous fogging of the interior cockpit glass that happens sometime when decending very fast from high altitude.
