Walter,
            that's weird. Isn't there any chance that you still have an old version of my same MOD loading before this one? That's the only possible explanation. Are you using v4.101m? If so, try to make a Ctrl + F1 to go to the non-cockpit view. If the loaded one is an old version it will hang the game.

  For this last version, as Freya said, and is noted in the readme, the setting ShowSIToo=1 enables the double indication. In fact, this setting is default: I mean, if you don't specify ShowSIToo=0 in the Conf.ini it must show the bracketed Internation System indication.

  Try to rename the MOD with 000_ (I assume you have it at the MODS folder) at the beginnning to be very sure that nothing older loads before.

  Regards,
                        Pablo

Sorry mate but I made a test just now:

I redownload and installed your mod into a vanilla 4.101 with a clean SAS mod activator 3.0 without enabling any mods by JSGME nor adding any lines on the conf.ini!

But I got the same results: no double measure indication neither in cockpit view nor in no cockpit view!

I'm sure that the mod is working because I got:

- Increment of 1 each for speed and height;
- 1 line in bombsight position and 3 line after editing the lin in conf.ini.

I don't understand why I can't got this great mod working!

(BTW in my 4.09 it's working flawless....)

Works in 4.101 with Ultra Pack 3.0 activated in single player. I just put it into my #UP# folder and added the lines to my conf.ini. Many thanks for this. Now I can get TAS quickly for the automated bombsights.

A problem exists in multiplayer though, when you press the "s" key to check other players and scores it completely locks up the game requiring a Ctrl-Alt-Del to taskmanager and exit.

I have a problem with this in DBW:

I don't get TAS. I only get the three toggles km, miles and KIAS but not the TAS steps.
everything else works.
this is my conf.ini:

[Mods]
SpeedbarTAS=1
SpeedbarUnits=1
SpeedbarSpdKMH=1
SpeedbarSpdMPH=1
SpeedbarSpdKnots=1
SpeedbarAltMeters=1
SpeedbarAltFeet=1
HUDGauges=1
BombSightAssist=1
BombSightAssistConf=3
MixedSpeedbar=0
FullSpeedbar=1
PALMODsColor=0
ShowSIToo=1

what am I doing wrong???

PS: in the readme there are dead links to allaircraftarcade.com which is out of action.
also, what is "(refer to the other MOD help for details):" supposed to mean... where is this "other MOD help"?

Andy,
           in the first page is explained but you can find the explanation in this answer, which is the same that Winston pointed out to you:

I also don't have the (bracketed) speed indication either.

I am also unable to activate TAS. I have the conf entries as per the readme, and have also tried it with 'SpeedbarTAS=1' entered aswell but neither enable TAS.

I have a modded 4.09 running the earlier version of this mod with UP2.01 - this one works ok allowing me to select all 6 of the speedbar options.

Any ideas?

Sid, you have to note that the readme of the original version didn't have well explained the Speed configuration. Please read the readme of this v4.101m version.

With the speedbar setting of:

SpeedbarUnits=1  (SI, International System = default)
SpeedbarUnits=2  (GB, British Imperial)
SpeedbarUnits=3  (US, US Imperial)
SpeedbarUnits=4  (TAS SI, International System)
SpeedbarUnits=5  (TAS GB, British Imperial)
SpeedbarUnits=6  (TAS US, US Imperial)

  The last version for 4.09m should work OK. Now I don't remember clearly but I think that the (International System) units are only pressent in the 4.101m. Not sure, i Have to confirm that.

  Regards,
                     Pablo

  SpeedbarTAS doesn't operate anymore. It is just set through the number established for Units.

  I will update this MOD with two new visuals for the HUD because the previous ones didn't have the G indicator of the 4.10m generation.

  Cheers,
                        Pablo

... sorry... all formulöated very complicated.

I still think it is not made clear enough in the readme. But as I got it now, SpeedbarUnits=3 sets all speeds to TAS alone.
will try. Thanks.

Works in 4.101 with Ultra Pack 3.0 activated in single player. I just put it into my #UP# folder and added the lines to my conf.ini...
I had repackaged this mod for use in the JSGME for my HSFX install, and it works perfect there. However, does not seem to work in the UP3RC4 JSGME. Anybody else tried it?

[Edit] Actually, just did a little more checking and realize now that UP3 does not have a Files folder, which is the structure I used with HSFX, so, what is the equivalent? Only way is with #UP# folder?

Bulau,
               you have to use the #UP# as if it was the former MODS folder. So place my MOD directory inside #UP#.

  But as far as I know it doesn't work with UP because of the MDS embedded on it. There are some changes in the HUD unit that makes it impossible to work. It is not only a matter of folder location. On the contrary, with DBW it works perfectly.

  Regards, Pablo.
