Thanks guys for not only this default skin pack but all of the work to help make IL2 what it really is becoming. Looking forward to UP3.0. I am so grateful that this sim is still getting better after 10 years. I do agree that the FW A series skins, and the PE2 series, and the Il2 series of skins could be looked at in your future work. With UP3.0, Mod act, DCG, and 4.10+ patches things are really coming together. Thanks again guys for all of your time and hard work!

;D :D :-\ THANK YOU. What with the new SAS mod that's a LOT of work issued in a wee while.
I for one was able to install it all, I'm so impressed by you modders that if there is a skin I don't like etc, then I won't fly it and choose another skin...I'm just so impressed that you all get together and expand this game so well

Thank you  to all concerened

I should of looked at the download before I spoke. That was just off the top of my head from all the years of shooting them down with my 109F4. Thanks again guys. Really looking forward to up3.0. Maybe I will live and make it to 1942!

Hi everyone

With the Help of Sani, we have posted two mirrors in the first post where users can, if they want, download the entire FBDSM Part 1 to 5 in one go.

Part 6 is not in there, because it deals with Default Zeros, while many have Japancat's Zeros. We will in future post an alternative archive 6 for JC's zero's, at a time when there are some more skins available for it.

Coming up soon (this week) in a new thread is part 7, which is for people using the new MiG3 models from aviaskins, as well as right after that some big archives, dealing with the Desert war, the Pacific, Burma, and the Spanish Civil war default skins (as well as a small map mod to make those work for guys who will not have UP3, or the future SAS UP3 map pack)

SAS Community is welcome to use my Bristol Mercuary XV/XX & Nakajima Ha109 engine layers for additional radial engine pics to the 1C's P&W based one used for all stock radials.
Naturaly so long as some visible credit is given; recommend in 'Visitor' TTF font its like LCD digital pixel style and can be typed as small as to be read clearly at 8 pixels actual height.

Just downloaded this skin pack last night and the default skins look excellent! Really a good job on making the planes look authentic! A big thanks to CirX and all who worked on this!   8)
