Adding objects to DCG
« on: April 16, 2011, 11:06:55 PM »

So, looking at the new update of the DCG, I would like to add CY6's Command and Control mod.
Also, I want to add some of the maps like CannonUK's Channel maps, and of course the mod aircraft.
I have consulted these threads, but they dont make alot of sense, I cant find most of the files mentioned.

How, exactly, is this done?

adding maps is long and very hard proces
Adding object like CY6's Command and Control mod. is easy , just open *.mis file in campaign and put this object.
DCG will be generate this object in mission *.is file

to make new map and new campaign see this:

Well I just finished my first few missions in a 109D-1 in the '39 Poland campaign!
Yipee!
Thanks to all here.
So just to make sure that I have it straight, add whatever planes I like, then create a new campaign, run IL2, select that campaign, then alt+tab out, go back to DCG, make whatever changes i want to to the campaign, select auto generation, then generate mission. From there I can close DCG and it should run a campaign in game yes?
I think that's what I did to get it right! :D
