I think what looks like missiles are a sort of braking device (forward firing small rocket motors) : Bremsraketen means "braking rockets" in German  ;) .

Tests being conducted with nose-mounted Rheinmetall-Borsig powder rockets and drogue chute to achieve pinpoint landing with the DFS 230.

What software are you using?
Possibly you have the wrong material ID set for the missing parts?

I mainly use the Unwrap UVW modifier to apply textures to objects.
Then use the Edit facility to adjust the texture to best fit.

I find for exporting its best to have all materials in one slot of the Materials Editor as Multi/SubObject type. Each material then has a unique "ID"

Google for tutorials about the Unwrap UVW modifier.
I cant remember which ones I used but I think I looked at more than one to learn.
