I have some weird problem with MiG-15 gear - sometimes it refuses to lower after pressing g - it lowers a bit and gets stuck. I fought it was an epic malfunction, but only after restarting the entire game I could lower the gear again.

Can confirm that. Sometimes have this with MiG-17. And if it happens, it happens to all MiG-17 in current mission. Funny to look how AI lands it.

But it happens very rarely. I thought that it is smth with my install.

yup, i tried everything before i eventually landed on belly. after restarting mission the issue was still there - only restarting game solved it

I had a chat to GJE52 via PM today. For those interested, he has decided to take a break from Il-2 for now. This is a consequence of an argument a few weeks ago within the admin area (regarding a few issues, including agreements with other sites and compatibility with mods etc). Following this, he has opted to take a break from the public eye of Il-2 and presumably (he hasn't stated this), his 3D projects are on hold.

As I've stated elsewhere, Cougars will be released soon, as I've recruited someone else to finish off the remaining 5-10% of the 3D work (plus EVERYTHING else is done). For the Hunters, (quoting myself from another thread):

...it may be too difficult working with the existing models without the source and hence could almost be easier to start from scratch. Not ruling anything out the possibility of working with existing models, just being pragmatic. At the moment, the Hunters are not a priority of AMT or anyone, as we have a lot on our plate but it was fun working on them and if possible, would love to continue working on them. Best to say 'watch this space' and if something does eventuate, some announcement will be made.

if you really want the F-86/MiG-15, you can use 4.11 autoDiffFM (get it here:
