I have made 3 coop missions using UP 3.0, the first two operate just fine.  On the third one I have 8 AD4's, and 8 F9F Panthers, I pick the lead Panther, or the second element Panther lead and join up with the Skyraiders, everything goes well over water, once I get in over land the game freezes on me and I have to reset the computer to get out of game.  I have tried flying all different elements of the flight and it always freezes over land. 

Oh yeah, I noticed I have lost the il2.exe gui when I start the game too.  I have to go in and use the ini file to change settings, I just put in 4Gb of RAM and had to change it that way.  I have reinstalled UP 3.0 deleted the desktop exe and did a send to desktop of the exe in the game folder, but the game still just starts without going to the settings gui.  And the game froze with 2Gb of RAM too.

what happened to that download that had the Map.ini and the XTD folder in it, it was supposed to address some map issues wasn't it?

Change:
LAA=0
to
LAA=1

And see if it behaves better.

Nope, it did not help, game still freezes, I try to get to task manager and I get the IL-2 flash screen and it says it's at 10% loading, and it's stuck there, I have to restart the computer to get out of the frozen screen. 

Okay, second addendum:

I deleted the Skyraiders and helo's, the Panthers get a little further inland this time, but then it freezes again, but I can get task manager and I get a page that says
"IL-2 6Dof/TIR enabled exe for modded IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 has stopped working"

In task manager it has two processes in the screen

"IL-2 6Dof/TIR enabled exe for modded IL-2 Sturmovik 1946" (running)
"IL-2 Sturmovik" (not responding)

Would you like me to send you the mission file and see if it fails on your install?

Your RamSize Setting is beyond the warning limit (which you should have seen in the selector), this should have been some clear hint, shouldn't it?
Try RamSize=512 in order to be on the safe side.

If your game starts without any selector gui, this points to a completely different exe being in place (maybe something you've installed with an old mod or through JSGME?).
Please tell us the file size of your il2fb.exe.

My exe is 1015 bytes (1,015 bytes)I have had no problems running the game at the RAM settings you see in the ini, there was just something wrong with that mission, I deleted it and built another one almost exactly like it that I'm adding things bit by bit and running it to see what happens.  I have not put in any late spawning objects yet, that may have been my problem. 

In fact I'm running my RAM now at 2048 and it's goin great.  I don't have the problems I was having with the game running 2GB of RAM, with it set at 512., I could not get it up to 1024, the game would not start, the highest was 768.  With the 4GB of G Skill RAM I put in it's a completely different puter................................
