The camouflage pattern concerns me, but I think I can handle it pretty well.

do you happen to have any profiles that are of the right side of the aircraft? (right = starboard)

Thanks for your interest Killer :)

I can't seem to find any more information on this one, though I found this : http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/455_1_2486493.html

It also flew in Algeria but the camo seems to be slightly different. Hope it helps.

Is there confirmation of a desert scheme used by the Mustang MkI? I cant recall seeing it done.

If it was it would have been done in field as the RAF Mustangs arrived in England already painted in US equivalent of the RAF green/grey Day Fighter Scheme

In the first link the description says 'Due to 225's severe lack of Tac/R aircraft of their own the 12th AF was "unofficially" approached for the "loan" of some P-51's and a few were received. These aircraft were not allocated RAF serial numbers, retaining their US serials (four that are known are 41-137361, 41-137366, 41-137424, and 41-137428) but these were apparently painted over during re-camouflaging in RAF paints.'

If that's correct there must have been a few field painted MkI's done :)

Hehe ;)

I decided to give it a try myself. The main colors aren't to hard, still, I've never done any camos.  :D

Done a bit of reading on this, it appears that several were passed on to the RAF, which had Sand stone painted on in an RAF style
keeping the US Olive Drab and neutral grey undersides

Heres a FinFlash only blank for generic use ingame :)
