check your logs. maybe missing textures? Or wrong install path?
Anyway, I tested installing this map and have it working in 4.12 MA5.30
now without any errors.

Gerax, FYI,

The link in the first post has given me a much appreciated map of the Celebes and Eastern Borneo.  Much needed map, I must say, but not "Southeastern India".  I wonder if it was meant to be named "(South)Eastern Indonesia, perhaps.  Appreciated nonetheless.

Cheers

Thanks for the missing map.

I think there is an error in the load.ini of the current version. The water2 entry does not point to the supplied texture.

Corrected one should be:

Code: [Select]
Water2   = BA_Shallows_Midway.tga

Hi and welcome..;)

That above is not exact enough to be read:

My entry goes like
Water2   = water/BA_Shallows_Midway.tga

Without the "water" hint to the containing tex-folder, the search goes h wire and the map won't load. :P

Cheers

I wondered why the reference "Water2   = water/BA_Shallows_Midway.tga" in the load.ini did not point to the supplied BA_Shallows_Midway.tga texture in the download-archive.

The BA_Shallows_Midway.tga lies in the root folder of "_tex" and not in "_tex/water".

When I install maps to my mod I have the habit of creating sub-folders in the "_tex" directory so that I can distinguish what textures came with which map. To do so I have to adapt the supplied ini-files with replacing of folder-names.

Therefore, my load.ini of this map reads the following:

Code: [Select]
Water2   = BB_South-East-India/BA_Shallows_Midway.tga
with the folders named:

Code: [Select]
#SAS\MAPMODS\MAPS\_tex\BB_South-East-India

Maybe you have the "BA_Shallows_Midway.tga" file already in place on "_tex/water" from another map (maybe hidden in an SFS-archive not visible). Otherwise I cannot figure out why this should work from the start.

Kind of off topic, but the mosaic picture for this thread. Where can I get the wooden texture CVE?
