Yur sound pack brings the IL2 to another level

The dive sound are awesome. We can hear it far. Special pleasure in russians planes and bf-109 - really fantastic.
The mechanical sounds and bullet/shell hits are vry cool too.

But just one thing:

I could´t hear that:

"*External tire screech sound heard on landing (shorter and sharper now).
*Increased volume of internal landing sound heard on hard landing."

When i´m landing i have no sound.

The external tire screech sound is subtle, but it is there. Of course, you need to be in an external view to hear this one.

The internal landing sound will only be heard on a hard landing. If you touch down softly you will not hear anything.

There was a wrong entry "infinite 1" in weapon.fau_2.prs file at the [samples] section that was causing CDT.

sound log: Cannot open audio file samples/infinite 1 (of course, there is not a "infinite 1" file  )


And thank you very much for this awesome mod.


Some friends of mine are hearing the old external motor sounds mixed with new sounds after installing your JTSM 2.0 in a new UP3 RC4 instalation.
Is this intentional or are they missing something?

I also have the old engine noise over the new engine sounds on a UP3 RC4 installation. I have flown Spits, MiG 3s, Beaufighters and others. I believe it is affecting all aircraft. I tried the remove divesounds but that doesn't cure it.

Yes, JTSM v2.0 is included in the DBW 1.1 update. CirX made a boo boo when he typed up his documentation. You will also want to grab the Hotfix 1 update I just posted a few minutes ago under the DBW section above. It adds several last minute fixes and enhancements to my sound mod.

I'm in the process of downloading the latest UP patch (RC4). It sounds like some of the engine preset names have changed in this latest version, which would explain why you are hearing stock sounds instead of my modded sounds. I'll know more once I install the patch.

The HSFX version of my sound mod already includes the hotfix, so you do not need to install anything else.

I just installed UP 3.0 RC4 and have not noticed any difference in the engine sounds. I flew the P-39, early and late Spits, and the MiG-3. Are you using the latest SAS Mod Activator with your UP 3.0 installation?
