ok, did a search in our forum here and didn't find anything on the minimap icon for the player's plane not showing.

Is it just my install of DBW (up to current 1.2 standards) that has the player's white plane icon is not showing in the minimap?

And for that matter, the minimap path is also not showing in the normal view for minimap.

And yes, I do not have the "no minimap icons" (or something like this) checked. UP3's minimap seems fine: player's white plane icon shows in relative and normal views.

Anyone else with player's white plane icon and player's flight path not showing in DBW? If so, not a problem, I'll be patient for the next hotfix/version of DBW.

are you really sure? there is a seperate switch now for player icon besides the old icons switch! (but came wth 4.10 i assume)
that ended for me in all campaigns started prior to that showing no player icon as the default seems to be "no player icon ON"

I'm missing the Fog Of War section in my UP3RC since rev 00,thus can see my white icon only when all minimap icons are enabled.
No luck with UP forums

Any idea?

don't know if it was just to keep us on our toes (no, I know that it's because of the more options!), but there is now a 3rd screen for the "difficulty" settings that has plane icons, minimap path, and fog of war.

This 3rd and last screen is gone for me when loading UP3

thanks guys...I was initially confused by the differences in the 3rd screen on UP3 and DBW, but all is well now. Thanks for clearing it up. It was indeed the icon setting in the 3rd screen in DBW. Solved!
