thanx gents, and, pleasure.

update:

As suspected, we had space left in the last archive, so Boomer did a lot of legwork and he added 3 more maps. BB NorthVietnam, flyzo BOB, and RLV_Night. Big thanx should go to him, for this entire pack actualy.

the entire package is about 860 MB, devided into 5 parts. the triggers to unlock them for DBW will be seperate, and for UP will come with their next update.

Uploading will be slow and take most of the week, adding enough mirrors for them all will take longer, so please just be patient.
I think perhaps later tonight part 1 will be available, with other following as the come online.

But you will need all 5 parts, and also the triggers, to be able to use them, they will not work independantly.

Also, DBW players take notice, to use the upcoming build 1.3 (out this coming weekend), you HAVE to have this map expansion. And you will NOT want to miss build 1.3, believe me!  :D (hints: massive cockpit improvements, repaints and fixes for many planes, more POV mod, brand new version of AI mod, with hotkeys and many other requested features of it, plus a number of other small fixes for the overall package.)

If we already have some of these in our DBW, we'll have to be careful not to duplicate.

Would it be better to delete the older maps, and keep the new ones, or won't it make a difference??

it is your choice, if you want to keep older versions of maps, planes, other mods, ect, with overlarge and unneccesary textures, that take up lots of space and load up time, old classes and other files, then, sure. ;)

Think of it as like keeping an old mod even after an official version has been put in the game. Only do it if you have a realy good reason to.

for everyone else, a little archive repacking and connectivity problems have kept some archives back, but I think by tomorrow night most will be up.

Also, I think we wont be utting out triggers seperately, rather, build 1.3 will be moved forward and released right after the last archive is up.

Like many people, I often speak before I think. The "light bulb" just came on a few minutes ago, before I checked back here.

D'oh.

No doubt about it, DBW is the place to be if you are a off-liner. I agree: this will keep us busy for years.

Many, many thanks for all this!!! ;D ;D ;D

cool. I wasnt sure. Some guys have made their own modifications and stuff to mods and maps, and then, removing it when it becomes "official" is not so black and white.

The best thing is we won't have to scramble around for this mod and that to enjoy your excellent and widely varied missions, It'll probably already be there! Wooohoooo!
