After having annoyed you with my installation problems, I'll try to rebalance things by posting some photos I took recently

On 30/5/2010, on Venegono airport in Italy (the same airport where the Aermacchi, formerly Macchi, factory is located), there was a small airshow to celebrate the Rome-Tokyo raid by Italian aviator Arturo Ferrarin. There were also some historical planes.

More recently, on 12/6/2011, on Jesolo beach, near Venice, there has been the Jesolo Air Extreme 2011 airshow.

The following are not historical, but I'll post them anyway.

Returning to historical planes, the flying replica of Francesco Baracca's SPAD XIII. With 34 kills, Francesco Baracca was Italy's top scoring ace of WW1, and he was killed only few months before the end of the war. The aircraft was shown in Milan for the anniversary of the end of WW1

The following shots are from Volandia museum, an aviation museum recently opened near Malpensa airport. It focuses mainly on the aircraft built by industries in Northern Italy (Caproni, Macchi/Aermacchi, Aeritalia/Alenia and Agusta).
