"Hippie UFO" with DBW1.6
« on: August 30, 2011, 01:33:56 PM »

Hello

I created a mission (below) in UP3 RC3 + dbw1.3 which worked :
https://www.mediafire.com/file/8nre9ae6vowi09d/P-51A.zip

In version 1.6, I have the following image at mission start :

Do you have it also ?

Is this a known bug ?

Note that if you choose a P51A, it starts in flight with the engine stopped, but this bug seems to be well known

Thank you in advance

I tried your mission and I confirm your findings; in my case, if i switrch to the US side, the Mustang flies OK from the start. I moved the japanese planes further from the airfield ('normal fly' option from the start), same problem. It also affects the Mustangs (they are either pink or disappear).

Thank you for testing, same thing for me when moving / changing plane order

It may have to do with the P51s; My shift & alt pointed to "x2 tanks not registered for P51", so I switched to 547D10s and, bingo, no problem, the mission runs smoothly. Lots of action too! 8)

Ok : maybe change the loadout to "default" for P51A ?

Quizz : what does this mission describe ?

All P51s had "default" load outs already

Not in the mission .mis file :
Quote
[USA_FG_021_FS_531z00]
  Planes 4
  Skill 1
  Class air.P_51A
  Fuel 60
  weapons 2xTank
I think we got it, I am at work, but replace "weapons 2xTank" by "default" may solve the problem
