              the first Il-2 Sturmovik 3D Stereo Video now is in Youtube:

  From v5RC and on, videocaptures are possible through any program able to interact with screen frames.

  As you can see ni this video of a Panther landing, sharpness of image is quite poor, and so the "Stereoscopic" 3D effect is not so depth (a whole different thing of what you see in game where it is perfect).

  My first experiences have shown that the way the image is compressed to generate the .avis, introduce an important level of color "Compression Ghosting", related to the fact that a half image of Red  or Cyan tint is present very close to other full RGB zones, so the .jpg or the .wmv (or .avi) are unable to properly resolve this situation.

  For pictures there are some programs very effective on doing this, but for video (this would be important at the capture stage) I still don't know how to manage it properly.

  It's a pitty but I was unable to capture any video fair enough to make justice to what you see in game with my MOD.

                 have you used Fraps to get that footage, right? What was your fps rate before having the video capture active?

  We still need a method to supress or minimize ghosting, I think it is the worst thing in capturing Stereo video.

Video in side by side mode for 3dtv's or 3d monitors. Youtube took the original side by side footage and you can select to see it in analglyph if you want as well red/cyan optimized dubois looks the best for that.

Phoenix, what's the frame rate you get with TriDef? Do you have a very powerful computer?

To capture that video have you used FRAPS?

Here's a video that uses the latest current development version, v6RC.

Oh yes I used fraps I can't remember the frame rate but I will tell you when I check again. I don't know if it will help or not but maybe give you some ideas to tweak away ghosting, but with tri-def there is a setting called percent in front and another percent of depth with these two I can pretty much eliminate ghosting. I don't know if it could be applied to your mod though or not.
