Wind,
I haven't seen this posted before so I thought I would ask. When I load the MOD_Static_DAF mod, I get a CTD. I unloaded the MOD_Aircraft mod and everything works fine. I know about not having the MOD_Static mod loaded at the same time but have not heard about needing to unload the MOD_Aircraft mod additionally...
Hmm, cannot replicate, when I run vanilla DBW 1.7.1 with Aircraft and DAF, no CTD. Aircraft and all Static packs should be mutually exclusive as they do not employ overlapping inis. Does this CTD occur when you run Aircraft with the original Static?
Wind,
No. When I use the original Static pack everything is fine. When I swap over to the STATIC_DAF pack, it loads through the DBW screen but CTD shortly after the IL2 loading screen begins. I guess I will need to eliminate the individual AIRCRAFT packs within the mod one at a time and see if I can find the culprit...
Hi Dennis
Look at Winds question carefully. There are no aircraft packs in the DAF JSGME Pack - The taxiing aircraft and extra statics are not treated as aircraft or stationary aircraft, they are vehicles and stationary objects. This has been discussed on the DAF thread at some length and established that the DAF pack is stable from a clean DBW install, which is the point of it.
Your likely 'culprit' with regard to the DAF Pack, from my experience and others, may be an addon aircraft or other associated mod. You need to apply the DAF Pack to a clean DBW install, without other mods except those that ship with DBW, then add, or re-add, extra aircraft/other stuff that you want.
Do it this way round and you will either get it all back or discover the odd-man out, he isn't hiding in the DAF Pack though.
