Couldn't wait to see how this looked in captured Republican colors. Here is a screenshot. I dashed off a hasty template to make it easier to skin.

But if I fly it as own plane, the skins don't seem to register, if it is used as an AI plane then the new skins registers. And i also got this 'Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines' view as well ... looks great in a way ... but it's not what was intended for this plane I bet ...

70%CTD in DBW 1.6. Installed the fix, still 70% CTD.// the air ini---back to normal. Dang, I wanted this for my SpanCivWar missions...uh, I noticed I have 8/21/11 buttons installed at 2249kb. But doesnt dbw "not" have to have a button file in "game".Anyway, it doesnt affect other plane mods. Regardless, thanks for all your efforts!

Not sure Gumpy, some mods just dont take in myDBW,others do. I can only speculate exact cause as I am somewhere between a novice and a startup. I noticed that I have loaded 24 mod planes that have worked but have // out many more other planes and only about 6 mod planes are loaded now. So a net result is lesser planes I would think. The He46 DID work in my HSFX5.1 install. The plane flys good, sounds good, looks good and even without the fix---the wheels are good. The bombs will drop on command---a big plus. The rear gunner shoots on auto but I cannot access it on hitting"C" command as with other rear gunner crafts like the Ju 87 for example. The cockpit looks good but I question the crosshairs as there was no front MG in the He46 that I know of. Would use in my Spanish Civil war missions, but the "no access" to the rear gunner is a big negative.Hope this is fixed as I like this bird in SpanCW, 1939 Poland missions and Hungarian early Barbarossa harassment bombings.Also occasionally enjoy playing a whole campaign just as the rear gunner.He46 has a nice 7.92mm rear gun and a good view of attack. A small problem!
Who can have unfortunate consequences depending on the package used.
In the Class of the aircraft found MGun01 (with MG17si) MGun02 (always empty), MGun03 (gunner).
The problem : the Hoock MGun01 does not exist !
An error is listed in the log.lst.
For the 409 version I would remove the first two MGun.

Yes this plane has only a rear gun and no front gun.
The crosshair is a crude bomb aiming device and nothing more.

Hi, and thanks a lot for a nice plane!

I quickly fixed some bugs I noticed in this nice He 46C:
- propeller 3d model flipped around to get correct rotation direction like in photos
- propeller now rotates also with engine on
- rotation axis position fixed in propeller meshes and propeller repositioned in hier.him
- damaged propeller shadow flashing fixed
- aerodynamic center moved to more realistic place and cockpit moved accordingly
- VisibilitySphere value in hier.him fixed to prevent looking into wings in external view
- propeller pitch adjusted in EM so that engine now runs at reasonable RPM without overrevving too easily
- default trim adjusted in FM
- drag increased in FM to get roughly correct top speed after prop pitch adjustment

You can download the fix here: http://koti.mbnet.fi/raukorpi/He46_fix.7z , just unpack replacing old files (after backing up if you want). Wheel fix is not included but 100% compatible, FM files are for v4.10.1m. If you want 3d fix without FM changes, install just 3do filder.

The fix looks to be very useful. I'd love to download, but when I try (by clicking on it of course) I can only download an 'index.php' file ... which I don't know what it is or does, but which does indicate that there is something out of skelter with the download link ...
