P-61
« on: December 26, 2011, 01:15:21 PM »

Hi Guys,
Maybe I just can't get a grip on the Black Widow but it seems to be almost impossible to keep this bird pointed straight. The directional stability appears to be inconsistant with what would be acceptable in a warplane. With the spoilers the P-61 was very agile but the game version seems to behave as if it has too much mass in front of the CENTER OF LATERAL RESISTANCE/not enough behind it.
Has anyone else noticed this in 4.09 SAS act?
Later,
Tater

Cant say I have noticed it, I have a trimweel that trims it vertical. I will try to test some birds and see.

I run 4101 , soI do not know if we talk about the same FM
But I have rigged up a two engine throttle and a trimwheel that make all planes trimmable , (10 hotas)

He actually get throttle from a P 47 and Avenger too, but I wanted 2 engine and more hotas
I connected 8 hotas to (by using old mecano parts  :)

that is SUPERB!!! You surely are onto something there man! Very good idea to use genuine throttles as well :-)

Will look into it too and see if I can make a more "polished" version ;-)
