Effects compilation of my personal favourites. Now obsolete!

Just spent hours putting this together for myself, so I thought I should share it!  No consideration was made to be FPS friendly as I have a good PC.  Good for Java limit though so many effects can be displayed at once.  Good compilation if you have a powerful computer and want to see large dramatic battles and wholesale destruction!

Based largely on Plutonium effects, I use this in DBW - Currently only compatible if you use the AI mod.  Just added a link to an UP compatible version.  Will try to add HSFX and DBW non ai mod versions in the near future

Includes the following and probably more that I've forgotten...

Propeller mod
Ricochets
High quality explosions made from a combination of three mods
Fires that do not die out.  Lower quality than Plutonium but more can be displayed at once.
High quality tracers and cannon smoke trails
Exhaust flames at appropriate times
Realistic muzzle flashes
Realistic aircraft fires/smokes
And other stuff!

It's for DBW.  I'd have thought it'd work if you changed the #DBW to #UP though.  I'll try later

you use many class files which do not work with 4.10.1 so that why game crash

My DBW install uses 4.101.  I have now added a link to an UP3 version for you, although I'm having this issue that Btasm mentions in Sanka's topic -

  Bomb bay doors close themselves automatically after a random amount of time it seems.  Hopefully there will be a fix soon.  Everything else seems fine in UP3 4.101 so far.  Maybe there are some unnecesary files that I can remove to save space?

OK. for up3, all class file with date 2010-05-03 have to be deleted , otherwise game will crash when using RRR/radar options



Other thing, i found error coming from console when any buildings will be destroyed
( you mess out a bit ,with house folder \#UP#\files\Effects\Explodes\Objects\House )


I fix this  and  modified form my self, good modpack thank you ;)

Thanks Manysh, I don't know anything about the classfiles, but I will learn  ;D  I'll try to clean up the classfiles over the next couple of days.  There's a couple of other things I want to fix also and then I'll post updates for UP3 and DBW AI mod and hopefully I'll have DBW without AI mod and HSFX5 working also.

About the house file - can you tell me what is missing?  I had to change a few things to get the less intensive house fires, but I see no problems with UP3 or DBW - Visuals are good, no crashes/freezes.

yes game it will not crash, but when you press shit+tab you will see big error coming from console, whatever you change the game engine say "i can't do this that way" ;D it just simple don't work

oh yeah, I removed two folders cos the effects loked the same whether they were there or not.  I'll try puting them back and see if that cheers the game engine up!   ;D
