If you read the first post, you will see: DiffFM_409 needed !

In this case the version of the buttons does not matter!
It should just be careful to put the correct file "FM" according to the nature of your buttons :
SAS_409  -  409 (or UP2.01) + Sound UV2 (TigerSound)  -  4.10 version

i have IL2 4.10.1m
i downloaded the TBD-1 'Devastator' for 4.10 users
i found a difffm_410 but dont know how to install it.

I read in this post that you have to put the folder into mods folder in game root but...no mods folder in my root game
i also read in this post that i have to put the folder into #UP# but no #UP# folder

so can someone explain me what to do and where to download the things i really need to play with TBD with  4.10 ?

It is fairly easy to install a mod, we got these question you got now about 20 times a week. That is why we got some tutorials and new members section. It is too much work explaining all this  stuff every time someone ask about it. Read the tutorials first.
You need a modact to put the mods in

You can choose to do this without reading and very surley face an reinstall of your game in very near future.

So you can get a lot of aircraft into your game with no long loadingtime.

I agree with you SAS~Le0ne but isn´t it great there are so many newcomers to this OLD sim who wants to get into it!! Can you imagine any other sim that has stood the years as this! Don´t think Oleg and comrades could ever imagine anything the like!!
And WELCOME you all newcomers, BUT RTF TUTORIALS!! first! It´ll save you a lot of PIA!!

yes I like it that more and more people come in. I was only trying to explain why I was not going to rewrite all tutorials as a answere here.
I might sound a bit bitchy I can see Reading it. But it was not my intention, I am sorry if it was taken that way.
Balto please forgive me if you got offended, but try out the tutorials they are really good. From them you will find exactly the way you want your game. You will learn how to make campaigns and maby make your own mod
