I would like to ask about a certain mod or type of mod in the aircraft area, But I don't see anywhere to post a new topic. Am I missing something here?

Hi brettt

To be able to post new topics in the mods download area, one has to be in the modder membergroup. there is no other priviledge or things that are different between normal member and modder than this, and the only reason we made it so, is to preserve the mods download boards for threads that are originating from downloadable mods. Thus, in those boards, every topic is a mod, and its discussion, and there are no "empty" topics. Question or request and discussion topics are well accomodated elsewhere in the forum, or at least, we hope so!

Yes that makes sense. So, since I'm not a modder but have a question about a certain mod or type of mod, where be the appropriate sub-forum to ask such a question?

you have to find the thread about the mod.
if the question is about a plane "X", find the thread about the plane in the planes section
If its about an effect"boom", find the thread where the effect "boom" was created.
Then read the entire thread:
-if its someting that has been solved, you will see the answer right away.
-if it has not been solved, you might have to wait a few days until someone shows up with an answer.
-this avoids having to answer the same questions again and again..and... again. And forces you to educate yourself on the Mod itself.
