Hey all, ive been looking everywhere for the section for Cliffs Of Dover (CoD) can someone tell me where it is?
I am not even sure if you guys are supporting this title so please do excuse me.

I am wanting to find the basic downloads, general area, skinning, etc...

Another thing is, ive noticed that I must have "air.ini" and some other ini files, but I cant find them anywhere...
this is again for cliffs of dover, anyone can confirm that the game uses these?

One last thing is, how do I know which patch my game is on? I cant remember which ive got and cant find it
anywhere telling me which version, lol.

If u look under "Lounge" one of the child boards is for CloD.

The main site for all CloD  stuff is at      http://forum.1cpublishing.eu

The version will show in the main menu screen right bottom in red, steam will keep it updated.

Hi and welcome to SAS
the Cliffs of Dover section (CloD, as i like to call it) is here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/board,182.0.html
it's a sub-forum (child board) of the Lounge section.
We don't really support it, at least not officially, but you are welcome to post with questions there, there are many guys who will be able to help you out.
I can't personally answer any of your questions, as i still need to buy a new rig that'll be able to run CloD at something better than 2 FPS.....

On the modding situation:
There are no mod planes, maps, objects or anything currently. The first official SDK set to be released by 1C company to the community will be the Map Maker tool.
- When? - Nobody knows.

And mods floating around relating to textures or anything currently don't work with the latest version of the sim and mod enabler made by keygety's and besides, Steam will ban you if the filter detected any of that.
PAINTSCHEMES ARE AN EXCEPTION AND WORK FINE.

Latest version you are running can be seen in the corner on the main menu. Go to 1C company forum for latest news.

Em, thanks for the info guys. Seems I bought the game at a wrong time, I love games able to mod and it was the main reason
I bought it as I thought it would be a modders haven, obviously I was wrong. So, I ask you another question, which version is the
best to play/use right now as modded and loads of content for? also running fine with FPS and least bugs? is it "IL-2 Sturmovik 1946" ?
Which patch also? and is that one on steam too or able to get the box version?

If so, then ill get that for now until Cliffs of Dover is better with the modding around it.

IL-2 sturmovik 1946 patched to 4.10 or 4.11, whichever you prefer, but I think 4.10 is more compatible with mods atm. You could try getting one of the big mod packs which ensure easy compatiblilty. eg. HSFX, UP or DBW.
