the 70% crash troubleshooter

a Much rarer crash, but more tricky to pin down.

70% cdt indicates a conflict between one of your ini files (static.ini, technic.ini or chiefs.ini ) and actual new objects in your mod files

To fix it you need to find out which line in any of those .ini's points to a worngly installed or missing object. Best thing is to revrt to backup and start over.

how can i do this?
i'm not very expert about theese things
if there is a tutorial about this argoment i will be very happy XD

I installed modact on a vanila install of 4.101 and just tested but when i launch "SAS modact 3" from the selector it just flash the load screen and crashes at 5%,  i have tried both with and with-out expert mode on, i have tried replaceing all SFS files, Iv checked my sound settings, and iv tried the "fall back selector". also i am useing windows7 with 4g ram, the slide says exeeding system memory if i take it over 1224mb, not that i care about that, i just want to run modact as it sounds great, I never moded IL-2 before, but i have other games and flight sims.

~solved~ I not done the 4.101 only 4.10 so thats where i was missing SFS files thanks SAS team

could you rather post with your problem in a new thread in tech help - this thread is a troubleshooting guide, not for specific problems.

I've installed 1946 version 4.10.1m.  Installed the Direct2Drive patch. INstalled Modact 3.06. Updated buttons.

Cannot get the IL2FB.exe to launch.  The il2fb_stock opens fine, but when I attempt to open the .exe, the IL2 Executable Selector does its countdown, disappears and the Windows double-bell sound occurs....then nothing.

There is no error message.

Help!

SloppyJoe, best to make a new thread in tech help for your problem, and please remember to specify which mod version and mods you are running, which plane, etc.
with the amount of info you've provided for us, you might as well be speaking Greek (no offense to Panos, cgagan and other Greek comrades  )

I tried to install [OAW] Boeing B-29 Silverplate Atomic Bomber (v1.2) to my #SAS. Did all the step and when i got on il-2 the plane worked fine, but when i try to use the Fat Man/Little Boy it crashed at 30% HELP!!!

I am using il-2 1946 4.101m with SAS modact 3.06.
