I know this aircraft is derived from the Re-2000 ... but I was wondering if there is any significant difference between the 2?

This because in DBW it pays to keep added planes to a minimum. If the P-35 differs a lot, then it might be worth adding to DBW as a mod plane. Otherwise using a P-35 can be done by using the appropriate skins on an Re-2000 ...

[DJP]  It works fine in HSFX5.1. I just finished adding it in my MODS folder.

cheers

I have continuously scrolled past this plane in the list... to things I thought were more interesting..  :-[ but last night... interest in prewar aviation developments, and simple curiosity got the best of me finally after all these months... and I downloaded this. Placed it in 4.111 HSFX ModAct4..

Now I can not say enough how wrong I was! This is one of the sweetest little fighters I have flown yet! Its tough as nails.. flies great.. is reasonably fast...and though somewhat limited in firepower... it still gives a good account of itself in battle. I managed to knock down 3 out of 7 A5M4 before the sheer number hits i had recieved emptied my fuel tanks.  :D

Many thanks and props for such an awesome addition! Looks great flying with B-17D by the way! If I had a US map.... I would be cruising around the States in this little bird all the time, escorting bomber wings to various training bases.  ;D

...ARE there US maps??

No.
No USA maps yet.

My Mistake... there are a few maps out there already, but more will be created one day soon.

You can also help out to create some US mainland maps. .
An interesting place called "Area 51" - The famous and mysterious - Roswell White Sands Proving Ground Trinity Test Site  ;)

Well yes there is one - I made it on request once and it's rather basic and certain to be hopelessly antiquated by now ... but anyway there is one for the Pensacoloa training area ...

Just remember, it's basic and very basically populated.

Hi, agracier, even a basic map is much better than no map at all. That's especially so, if you want a career beginning with the player working up to getting their wings, or participating in some peace time exercises. Your other maps are very good, so I assume this basic one is too.

cheers

Well, since my father is from Mobile I had to make a bit of an effort for the city ... ha ha.

I remember visiting back in the early 1960's and going to Fort Morgan on the Gulf. That really blew my young mind ...
