Swordfish not Loading ~ANSWERED
« on: December 02, 2009, 11:00:08 AM »

Since installing UP 1.8 I have not been able to load the Swordfish in neither QMB nor in FMB. I always get the following error message, which means nothing in practical terms to me.

Is there any fix for this problem?

This is a n actual bug  I am afraid. The workaround for now is, to choose RN or RAF as the country (not multi). To do this in QMB, you will have to selcet another plane, choose the RAF or RN, and the select the swordfish.

I think this is adressed in the update coming. We will do a patch soon anyway.

Yes it is a known bug (the swordfish mesh have been left out) but there is a quick fix just drop the a folder with the 3do  of the swordfish (the one with the two folders cockpit and plane) into your mod folder.Something like this :Mods/missing swordfish/3do/Cockpit and plane etc etc.

If you have HSFXV4 just look into MODS/WIPtemporary folder and the 3do of the swordfish is there (among other things). In fact you can copy the all WIPtemporary folder in UP1.8.

I just did it yesterday and had a lot of fun in defending Taranto base from marauding swordfish and Fulmars (my poor CR-42 was crippled at the end)

Or for temporary fix, you can simply copy the RAF folder and replace the Multi folder with it...
