It should work in your SAS ModAct 4.0, and I would suggest HSFX 6.17, It is an Awesome Mod Pack..

Start at 6.0, then go up to 6.17

Hello, I play with DBW 1.71 and the Full Monty, and I have the same problem than Gumpy and Walter Solito with the landing gears.

Can someone explain me how to fix it ? In advance thank you. 

And thanks to sputnikshock, this mod is amazing. Maybe my favorit mod plane.

Hello Maurice Morrison,

Do you incidentally have GearDamageFX V 1.3 in your #DBW folder? I had it and by removing it, everything was solved. I can be mistaken, but this Mod can be used very well in 4.09 not in 4.101 DBW. So, may be this can be of any help?

Initial test confirms that only the 4.09 + effects fix works with 4.12 and SAS 5.11 (No UP, DBW, HSFX installed. Just manual install over 4.12 and SAS 5.11)

Hi Sputnikshock, thanks for the awesome mod! Just having a small issue. Its saying "Cannot load gear.mat" when I try to use the plane. Any ideas?

The 4.09 version with the 'effect fix' works ok im my 4.12.2 & 5.3 modact version  , so perhaps a 4.12 icon is justified?
