Saitek x52 pro and 1946
« on: March 09, 2012, 05:52:53 PM »

Hey guys, iv'e gotten help from you guys earlier to make the game look good, now i need some help controlling the game, i make a profile in my x52 pro profile editor and bind it to the default keybinds in the game... fire up the game... and nothing, none of the controls that i spent 2 hours laying out work, so im hoping that one of you guys might have the solution, the guide i was following was in here http://www.ehow.com/how_7832476_load-x52-pro-il2-1946.html

i find the control options in game on 1946 are alot "simpler" than the cliffs of dover options, which are all there and almost seem to be made around a HOTAS system with rotary switches etc.

Did you activate the profile in your saitec software, this must be done on every startup of your pc

Saitek software consists of two components - the Profile Editor which is used to create the profile, and the Profiler which is used to run the profile in the game.
Before you start the game, you have to first launch the Profiler program (from your start menu or shortcut) which will place a joystick icon in the taskbar next to the clock. You then activate the profile by right clicking on the joystick icon and selecting the appropriate profile from the popup menu. Then run the game.
Hope this makes sense.
