Does this map mod work with Il2 4.12.2 Modact 5.3? If it does not what are the requirements for this mod to run?

This is an updste to the Channel40 map.  Where I might find the original map?  It looks great!

The map files are all there but you need the buildings.
UP3, DBW and HSFX got all the buildings.
If you run a modact install then try Boomers Object pack, that probably also has all the buildings:

If you run a Modact 5.3 install, also the first stickied thread in the maps section (ModAct map works) will give you more info on how to get needed maps/objects working in MA 5.3.

Hi Tom, vpmedia,
Haven't tried the method for the Channel Map, but I did use the method to put more objects into my Modact 5.3 install.  It works for the Crete Map!! Previously, more than I can counted no of objects are missing. Now the Crete map works like magic!!!

Next I am going to try the Channel map.  Thanks for the pointer!

If someone search for a winter version of the Channel beta, you'll find here:

(also a spring one)
... but I'm not sure it will be 100% compatible with Istvan great rework !

To show my ignorance once again, is this mod contained somewhere in TFM-412?  I don't even know where to look to answer it myself.  Thank you.

I decided to continue/finish this map. France was populated with Slovakia objects by the original author, that was a big problem with this map. Now I managed to remove all and create new buildings for France and some for the UK.

New french buildings:

UK

I also replaced all city and village textures and added trees to the settlements, pics later.
