I should take a screen shot of my Mod folder after I enable the Full Monty, I can't think of damn thing you could possibly have that's not already in here.  from a stock vanilla mod folder you wouldn't need to add anything, I would never try to install this over an existing mod folder, it would never work.

Maybe I will take a screen shot and post it.

Thanks Mike,

That would be a tall claim coming from me.  I know we had some conversations recently about stretching the content of available packs, now up to 12, but for you to independently try it and come to that conclusion really validates the work.  Thank you for having an open mind and the guts to try it.

Monty

Sorry to post here mate, but could not seem to find anywhere at your forums at A&A that would let me post a message. Basically i decided to create a fresh install alongside my other game to test your new Monty's 12 mod pack, i tested the fresh DBW 1.71 install first and it runs fine, i then installed all your 12 modpacks but unfortunately i get a ctd at 70%.

In order to try and find out where the problem lays, i uninstalled each mod pack one by one and tested. I got a 70% ctd all the way down to modpack 01, when i uninstalled this the default DBW 1.71 again runs fine.

The way i understand how you have built your modpack is that each pack is culmulative of the previous additions, so for example if a plane is added to the first packs air.ini, then a further plane addition in another pack will contain a new air.ini with the plane from the previous pack added. Is that correct?

If so should i be able to test after each separate mod pack is installed? If that is the case it appears i have a problem with the first modpack which is giving a 70% ctd.

Would love to get this sorted as your modpacks look absolutley amazing, anyone else have the same problem? or suggestions?

Many thanks

Yes, you should test it after each pack is enabled, check the size of the file and make sure it matches the size of the one on the forum, if you have a problem, redownload and see if it's correct, if not let Monty know so he can look at it.  We all know servers and storage sites can hiccup and mess up a file.

I tested after I had the full Monty 01, 02, 03 etc untill I had the full thing done, then I would make a copy of the mod folder and jsgme as a back up.

Cheers and good luck....

Thanks Hoss, will look into downloading the first pack again, see if that helps. Thanks for your reply mate.

Good to know I can test after each seperate pack is installed, helps to iron out problems.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Still no luck i'm afraid.

Tried again with pack 01 and still get a 70% ctd. The sizes all match ok.

I could only redownload part 2 and part 3 of the 01_modpack as the file site said only premier users could download part 1 for some reason, but managed to get it yesterday so used that one. As part 1 contains only the sfs file for claymores FW-190 mod, i used the one i managed to download yesterday.

As a test i deselected the modpack through jsgme and loaded the old modpacks and campaigns, and they work fine.

Thanks again for any assistance

regards

Monty may have ticked the private button on that Monty_01part 1 to take a look at it.  If you check that button on the owner and premier members can download it.  I had a problem with it the first time I downloaded it too, sometimes things get corrupt even if it looks right.  With the "VANILA" DBW folder and Monty_01 installed it should work just fine.

Forgot to say mate, I also edited out my DBW folder, and used the DBW base folder downloadable at the same location.

Cheers again

Also getting the 70% crash.
Investigating.
Well thus far all is of the right size and I cant see what I did wrong-unless jsgme left something out while activating.

A bit too much perhaps? Would probably be better to see about adding many of these things (objects and such) to the core game via SFS.

Sorry mate, my bad, or lost in traffic somewhere...

NOTICE: Monty Pack-01
Incomplete Downloads

When assembled Monty-01 had two folders missing from the downloads, which prevented it and all subsequent packs from working!

Please get DBW-MONTY-01Part04.rar, a small addendum to complete the content for Monty-01

(added to download page)

Oh, and I got the forum for Monty's Corner working over at A&A too, sheesh what a lot of stuff!

Sorry for the inconvenience

Simon(Monty27)

Now added as a new thread here at SAS too.

I have been having a ball with DBW since you guys created it.  It gladdens my heart to be able to share these mission ideas and see that people 'get it'.  Thanks mate!  ;D
